Returns the zero-based position of the first occurrence of textToFind in textToSearch, starting the search at offset. Returns -1 when it is not found.

Prototype

Numeric IndexOf(String textToFind, String textToSearch, Numeric offset = 0)

Example

Returns 4.

SELECT IndexOf('o', 'Hello world') as Result FROM Single

Starts searching at position 5 and returns 7.

SELECT IndexOf('o', 'Hello world', 5) as Result FROM Single
